Membership – STNI

As a member of STNI, you become part of a professional community committed to advancing neurointervention, stroke care, and neurovascular sciences.

• Participate in scientific meetings in neurointervention, stroke, and neurovascular disorders.
• Support and benefit from training, qualification, CME, and requalification in neurointervention.
• Contribute to establishing protocols for neurovascular disorders and interventional practice.
• Engage in and initiate research in neurovascular and neurointervention disorders.
• Strengthen ethical frameworks in neurovascular and interventional practice.
• Build collaborative relationships between:
  • Members of different scientific societies,
  • Patients and caregivers,
  • Industry partners and companies,
  • Government and healthcare structures.

• Attend, participate, and vote in all General Body Meetings of the Society.
• Become a member of the Executive Committee.
• Propose or second candidates for admission to the Society.
• Receive each issue of official periodicals and other publications (free or at prescribed charges).
• Avail reduced registration fees for the Society’s congress and official meetings.

• Be co-opted on various committees and sub-committees by the Executive Committee.

Associate / Honorary members are not entitled to:

• Vote in any meeting of the Society.
• Stand for election to the Executive Committee.
• Hold any Office Bearer position in the Society.

Full Member (Senior Member)

A Life Member shall be a radiologist, neurologist, or neurosurgeon who spends more than half of their clinical and research time in neurointervention.

• The applicant must have performed more than 50 independent therapeutic neurointervention procedures.

Associate Member

• Members with substantial interest in neurointervention but with <50 independent cases.
• Neurointerventionists in training.
• Non-interventionists but interested in the field (neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, etc.).
• Interventional Neuroradiologists (INR) from outside India.
• Those preferring time-bound or repeat payment memberships.

Associate members will be upgraded to Full Membership once they satisfy the defined criteria.

Honorary Members

By majority decision of senior members, honorary membership may be conferred upon individuals who have made outstanding contributions to therapeutic neurointerventions.

• Honorary members enjoy most privileges of full membership, except:

• No voting rights.
• Cannot serve on committees.
• Cannot hold office in the Society.

An honorary member is not required to pay dues.

A Member is a person who is admitted into a particular category by the Executive Committee and who has paid the subscription fee at the time of admission.
